LPGA Tour Notebook: New event brings Tour back to South Florida
AVENTURA, Fla. — The LPGA Tour returns to southern Florida this week for the inaugural Stanford International Pro-Am, hosted at Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club. The $2 million event is also the fourth Winner Event in the first half of LPGA Playoffs 2008, which means the winner automatically advances to the 32-player field at the season-ending ADT Championship.
